Meet The Writers

- Cherie Lampley is the creator and editor of this site. She has always had a passion for sports; ever since she was a little girl. She wanted to take ballet but her family signed her up for tee-ball and basketball along with her brother. She guesses that her family figured they would only have to make one trip. Little did they know that this is where it all began. She did not like to play but she found her calling as a spectator. Her favorite teams are The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds. She also loves the NBA but for some reason has yet to get over the Shaq and Kobe split. It's been 4 years! She also roots for the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Columbus Destroyers. As for Cleveland sports? Cleveland fans can thank her dad for her so so support. If her dad can root for them, she can too. - Carolyn is an NBA-obsessed, Cavalier devotee who lives and works in Shaker Heights, Ohio and dreams of the Q. She also writes for her blog And One. She writes here about the interesting things happening in the international basketball leagues.

- Bethany, author of Bethany’s Hockey Rants, follows the Columbus Blue Jackets. She enjoys the stylings of Rick Nash, Martin Brodeur, and Aaron Rome. As for the retired greats, Patrick Roy and Steve Yzerman are high on her list.  She is a Journalism and Communications major, with a minor in French. Her ultimate goal is to work for the Montreal Gazette, covering the Montreal Canadiens.  Hockey is her passion and she loves everything about it. She is also the Columbus Blue Jackets representative for the all female hockey blog,  HLOG.
