Pick Up A Book!

Just to let everyone know, I have had the BLAHS the last few days and am still feeling BLAH but I'm ok to post. Anyway......

I love to read. It is my other love besides sports. I always love a good debate about whether a hardcover or a paperback is better (it depends on what bag you're carrying). I haven't been reading sports books lately though. There are many that I should pick up and read though like.....

- Uncaged: The Rise of Greg Oden, Mike Conley, and the National Champion Lawrence North Wildcats by Dave Krider, JR Shelt, and Scott Freeman.

- Quiet Strength: The Principles, Practices, & Priorities of a Winning Life by Tony Dungy, Nathan Whitaker, and Denzel Washington (foreword).

- Bowls, Polls, and Tattered Souls: Tackling The Chaos and Controversies that Reign Over College Football by Stewart Mandel.

- Then Tress Said to Troy: The Best Ohio State Football Stories Ever Told by Jeff Snook.

There are also others that I need to read but these are good to start with. And then there is the book that is coming out on December 10 (Christmas gift! Oh and I love B&N or Borders gift cards just so you know) called The Franchise: Lebron James and the Remaking of the Cleveland Cavaliers by Terry Pluto and Brian Windhorst. The book is about how the team and the city changed when the Cleveland Cavaliers won the 2003 lottery pick and picked Lebron James first overall. Excerpts are on ESPN.com about the shoe deal and the lottery pick. It will be a book that I pick up. You should too.
