How much do you make?

So, I'm just sitting here browsing the internet and I come to one of my new favorite sites HoopsHype.com and there is a list. The List. If you want to know what your favorite NBA star makes and who's at the top of the list, please click here. It also shows the ranks of the teams salaries. I'll just let you know that the NY Knicks are #1 and Lebron nor D-Wade are in the top 30. Check it out!

TGIF!

Sorry but I was tired this morning so I was unable to post this morning before I had to leave for work. Got to get as much sleep as I can. But you can click here if you still don't know where everyone went in the NBA draft last night. Courtesy of The Columbus Dispatch.

Now who else wants to go out and get a #52 Trailblazer jersey? I can still picture Oden's smile when he shook hands with the commissioner last night. All I can say is he needs some more endorsements. He can sell anything. He's got the Nike endorsement. McDonald's needs to call. Sprite needs to call. He is going to be money. I can see it now.

I've been tinkering with my blog the last few days. Above you will see a picture of me doing, what else, dancing. I also added a ticker to see if anyone is actually reading my blog. I like to see that someone actually is!

What About Ronnie?

Yes I will be staying up to see if Ron Lewis gets picked. There was an article yesterday in the Columbus Dispatch about him watching the draft at his Columbus apartment waiting to see if he gets picked. I'm crossing my fingers.

So 3 Buckeyes were picked in the 1st round. YAY! Daquan Cook got picked by the 76ers but was traded to Miami. By the way, Stephen A. Smith is looking steller in his navy suit. Him and Dickie V. have been going back and forth about how deep this draft is. Now I would never want to go against Stephen A. but you can't go wrong with 6 players who played on championship monday being drafted in the 1st round. Along with Kevin Durant, Jeff Green, Yi Jianlian, and Brandon Wright. This is a good draft. I will say that I do love the 2003 draft because Dwayne Wade was apart of it and since the beginning, he has been my favorite player out of that draft.

Now I think I'm gonna finish watching the draft in bed since I do have to get up and go to my 9 to 5 in the morning. I'll try to wake up early in the morning to post the whole draft order.

See ya!

Commercial Break!

The Lottery is over. If you don't know who went where I'll fill you in.

1. Greg Oden - Portland Trailblazers
2. Kevin Durant - Seattle Sonics
3. Al Horford - Atlanta Hawks
4. Mike Conley Jr. - Memphis Grizzlies
5. Jeff Green - Boston Celtics (but sent to Seattle w/ trade)
6. Yi Jianlian - Milwaukee Bucks
7. Corey Brewer - Minnesota Timberwolves
8. Brandan Wright - Charlotte Bobcats
9. Joakim Noah - Chicago Bulls
10. Spencer Hawes - Sacramento Kings
11. Acie Law - Atlanta Hawks
12. Thaddeus Young(love the name!) - Philadelphia 76ers
13. Julian Wright - New Orleans Hornets
14. Al Thornton - LA Clippers

Back to the draft......

Bittersweet

Commercial Break #1

Yes I am very happy for Oden and Conley Jr. for their dreams coming true being able to play in the NBA, and of course being picked in the top 5. And yes I am a little sad that I won't be seeing them in scarlett & gray this November. But I believe I'm more sad that they won't be playing together. If they can be ok with it I guess I can too.

Now are the Atlanta Hawks the Detroit Lions of basketball? Another forward? Don't get me wrong Al Horford is a good player, and also hot, but isn't it the 5th consecutive year of picking a forward?

Seattle Sonics got lucky. They trade Ray Allen to the Boston Celtics and get the 5th overall pick who ended up being Jeff Green. So Seattle gets Kevin Durant and Jeff Green. Starbucks country definitely has something to celebrate.

Later......

G’Head

The draft is today! So excited!

I've been engrossed in all the NBA draft talk that I forgot to mention the news about Troy Smith. I saw on PTI the other day and also read in The Lantern, Ohio State's college paper, today how Smith questioned Roger Goodell. He pretty muched asked him why he focuses mostly on the negative things in the NFL. Then Goodell tries to dodge the question but Troy Smith does not back down. He simply says "You didn't answer my question." G'head! There has been too much negative things in the news about the NFL, I know there have been for a lot of reasons, but I appreciate Troy stepping up and showing his leadership. I'm just hoping that he's able to show his leadership on the field.

So if you haven't heard, the Portland Trailblazers have already decided that they will select Oden at #1. I'm very excited for him. But what happened to suspense. I wish nothing would have been said. I wanted to be hanging of my seat when David Stern comes out to say "With the 1st pick in the 2007 NBA draft, the Portland Trailblazers select......". Oh well, I guess I'll be hanging out of my seat with the 3rd pick and on.

I'll be back later.........

Good Night and Good Luck

I almost went to bed. But then I remembered that I didn't post anything on my blog today. And of course I have to remind everyone to watch the NBA draft tomorrow at 7 est on ESPN.

Speaking of my blog, it's acting up. Some of my things aren't showing up for some odd reasons. Hopefully that will be dealt with because my blog needs to always look HOT!

So are you as excited as I am? The draft is less than 24 hours away! Will Portland take Oden? How high will Conley go? Will Lewis get drafted? Who is gonna go #3? Is so exciting to me. I love it.

Well I'm gonna go back to watching the NBA draft special on ESPN. Stephen A. Smith is on! See ya tomorrow!

MY CRUSH!

I am obessed with Stephen A. Smith. There, I said it. As you know in my last post, I was kind've e-stalking him. I also download his podcast every weekday. I was upset to find out that he was not there today but I guess I can forgive him. If you do not know who Stephen A. Smith is you should. He's hilarious. http://www.youtube.com/?v=BYftKfvcT-U You have to hear this and see how hiliarious he is.

Shaq's Big Challenge premiered tonight. I only watched some of it because the BET Awards was on. But I did have to tune in a little bit because I love me some Shaq. And he's doing a good thing with those kids. It put me in the mood to start working out. HOLD UP! I just saw Shaq make a shot over a house and he can't make free throws?

And you have to read Greg Oden's blog as he tells you about his dinner with STEVE NASH. Good stuff. Ok, got to get back to the awards show. They are celebrating Diana Ross right now. And she is definitely the epitome of a DIVA!

5 Questions

1. Why am I watching Making the Band 4?
2. Why am I e-stalking Stephen A. Smith?
3. Speaking of Diddy, why does Bad Boy seem to suck nowadays?
4. Why have I stopped listening to music and mostly just listen to sports podcasts (Stephen A. Smith everyday!)
5. Why don't the Reds win :(

I should do this every week. I think I will. Every week I'm going to post 5 questions that are puzzling me. Please, if you able to help me answer these questions, leave a comment. It will help me out.

Star Wars and the City

The draft was in town this weekend! If you don't know what draft I'm talking about, it was of course the NHL draft. I believe it was shown on Versus? For a second I thought about going down to Nationwide Arena to watch some of it. I'm not a huge hockey fan, but I still love sports. And to be able to be at a draft period, just to see the atmosphere, would have been exciting. But Friday night I was busy and on Saturday I forgot all about it. Oh well, maybe next time.

I've been slipping. This weekend I've been watching the Star Wars movies on HBO and Sex and The City on HBO Demand. I haven't been watching that much of sports. I apologize. It won't happen again. Don't worry after Entourage, I will go back to ESPN News and catch up.

I can't wait until Thursday. I'm thinking that I might be blogging throughout the draft. I'm so excited to see if Oden actually ends up #1 and how high Conley will go. And I of course can't forget about Lewis and Harris. I hope they get drafted, if even in the second round. Good players have come out of that round. BOOBIE! I can't wait until basketball season so I can scream that again.

Oh and about that shoe deal. I would like one with Christian Loubotin. Hit me up and let me know.
